Meet Your Mentor Jacob Arrieta

Welcome to Jabbok Mentoring Services, where Scripture, discipline, and lived faith converge. This work was born out of a calling to walk with men who desire to live faithfully before God and order their lives under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
My background is rooted in education, formation, and leadership. I have spent years teaching middle school history, leading Bible studies, and coaching physical education, shaping both mind and body through instruction, discipline, and example. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in Apologetics from Liberty University, grounding this work in both practical leadership and a deep commitment to biblical truth.
I am a devoted husband and father of two daughters, and God and family stand at the center of my life. My commitment to physical training, including earning a second degree black belt, reflects my belief that faith is lived through the whole person. Strength, restraint, and discipline are not ideals but practices that shape character over time.
Like Jacob at the Jabbok, my own life has been marked by struggle, repentance, and renewal. Through Christ, what once weakened me became the ground of formation. This journey fuels my passion to mentor men as they confront destructive patterns, submit their lives to God, and grow into mature sons who lead themselves and their households with integrity and devotion.
At Jabbok Mentoring Services, the aim is not self improvement, but faithful discipleship. Men are invited into a disciplined way of life where weakness is met with grace, obedience is practiced daily, and transformation is shaped by God’s hand. This is a path of formation, perseverance, and renewed calling.
